Weekly Day Of Prayer

Prayer is the most potent weapon we have in this life. Here at The Crossing Union Cross, we want to take full advantage of this. Our next step in doing that is a weekly prayer day for our entire church. This can be done from anywhere while you are doing anything.

We ask those willing to be involved to pray three times each Saturday for the items below. Each session doesn't have to be hours long or a grand happening. These prayer sessions can be done while working, traveling, listening to music, with friends or a small group, or any other combination.

The times that you pray can be changed, but if you are able, we would like everyone to pray at 7:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 7:00 pm so that while we are apart, we can be united in prayer.

Here is the prayer list.

  1. Thank God for the blessings He has given us and for our Salvation.
  2. Our church, specifically its health Spiritually and Financially, to increase its impact on God's Kingdom.
  3. For the upcoming Sunday Service, that God's word will impact both members and visitors. That God would move in mighty and divine ways that go beyond anything we can imagine to bring growth and life change.
  4. For protection as we seek to serve Him and guidance as we spread His word through worship, service, and message. That He would stoke inside us a spirit of power and audaciousness as we seek to reach others for Salvation.
  5. The families and individuals inside our church that need mental, physical, and spiritual healing and intervention. That God would move in mighty and abundant ways that are undeniable.
  6. Our local community, for the growth of God's kingdom in this area, not just at our church but all churches and their impact on the people around us. That lives would be changed and families healed.
  7. Pray for our nation, its leaders, and the current state of distress in America in various forms afflicting our families and youth.
  8. God's kingdom worldwide, for the prosecution it faces, for the ability it has to change lives, and for its effectiveness.
